Check-in/Check-out

June 2 – August 12

  • Check-in: Between 15:00 – 20:00
  • Check-out: By 11:00

For other dates, check-in and check-out are arranged by agreement.

Late Check-in:
If you are unable to check in before 20:00 for a pre-booked room, you must notify the hostel in advance to arrange a later check-in. Otherwise, the booking will be considered canceled and may be offered to other guests.


Reception Hours (June 2 – August 12)

  • 08:00 – 11:00
  • 15:00 – 18:00

Outside these hours, assistance is available by agreement.


Identification

All guests must present valid identification upon arrival.


Smoking Policy

The hostel is non-smoking. All facilities are equipped with smoke detectors.

  • Smoking indoors will result in a 4,000 SEK cleaning fee.
  • Any false fire alarms due to smoking or negligence may lead to prosecution, and the guest will be charged for emergency service costs.

Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking, the guest acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined by Tofta Gård Event & Boende AB during their stay.

Payment Terms

  • Prepayment is required at the time of booking.
  • Bookings and payments are made digitally using credit or debit cards through the hostel’s official website.
  • The card used for payment must belong to one of the staying guests and be presented with valid ID upon check-in.

Refunds are processed according to the cancellation policy below.


Cancellation Policy (Web/Phone Bookings)

  • Free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival (by 12:00 PM).
  • Cancellations within 5 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the booking fee.
  • No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.
  • Bookings remain valid until 20:00 on the day of arrival unless a later check-in has been pre-arranged.

For bookings made through third-party sites, cancellations must be handled via the original booking platform. Refer to your booking confirmation for specific cancellation terms.


Payment Methods

When booking through toftagard.com, payment is required at the time of booking.
We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Upon successful payment, a booking confirmation will be sent to your provided email, including a link to manage or cancel your booking.


Manage or Cancel Your Booking

  • Use the link provided in your booking confirmation.
  • Enter your five-digit booking number and last name to view or cancel your reservation, following the cancellation terms.

Guest Responsibilities

Booking Holder

The person who made the booking is the official contact person and is responsible for:

  • Themselves and all guests in their group.
  • Any damages or additional costs caused by themselves or members of their group.

Damages, Keys, and Cleaning Fees

  • Guests are financially responsible for:
    • False fire alarms (e.g., smoking indoors): 7,000 SEK
    • Lost or stolen property
    • Missing linen/towels: 50 – 500 SEK/set
    • Lost keys and lock replacements: Minimum 3,200 SEK
    • Uncleaned rooms upon departure: 300 SEK (Optional cleaning can be booked the day before departure)

The booking holder agrees that any costs arising from damages or additional services will be charged to the credit/debit card used for booking or invoiced separately.
